GYSTPro has been around since 2001, but due to the hassles of new security settings and the expenses it takes to deal with computer operating systems, we have chosen, or rather forced to, create a cloud based version of GYSTPro in order to keep the price reasonable for artists. Many people are nervous about using the cloud, but after exhaustive research, we have decided it is a better strategy for all concerned. For more information: Why The Cloud?

Online Software For Artists
Our new software, GYSTPro.cloud is ready. It is subscription based and accessed by your browser. No more upgrading. While our original software, GYSTPro is computer based, GYSTPro.cloud is internet based. If you use Dropbox or gmail, you are already using a cloud based program. More detailed information is below.
Prices range depending on the amount of memory you use, so those getting started can do it at a cheap price. Once you use up the memory, you can upgrade to a higher version. As with all databases, if you use low res images (72 dpi and 6” on the long side), you will save a ton of memory. Higher resolution images can be saved on your computer or on a hard drive or cloud backup system.

You can sign up for a FREE 30 day trial below. If you decide to subscribe within those 30 days, then your data will remain. Or, you can sign up for a subscription directly. Please choose the plan you want, you can change or upgrade any time. If you choose to subscribe, all the information you entered will remain. If not, your files will be deleted.

If you subscribe before December 1, 2023 you will not have to pay for the GYSTPro 4.6.7 upgrade which you will need in order to transfer your information to the cloud based version of GYSTPro. I will also import your data from an older version of GYST to GYST.cloud.

If you have started a trial already, I will update your trial. Please let me know what name you used to create your GYST.cloud trial in case you use an alias. (This really happens).
If you start from here I recommend that you sign up for a trial anyway, as then you can choose your own login and password and keep it, even if I import your information from an older version of GYST. We are working on that automation stuff, but meanwhile, it is me updating your information.

You can sign up directly for a trial. if you decide to subscribe, then select the subscribe button above and I will enroll you into the plan you choose and extend your subscription date. It will not be automatic. I get to do that part.
Upgrading from GYSTPro Computer Based Software
If you are a current user of GYSTPro, here are the upgrade instructions. They are different depending on what software you are using, so please read carefully.
GYSTPro 4.5.1: Alert! This version does not work on BigSur or above for Mac.
Upgrade Directions
If you are currently using GYSTPro 4.5.1, you will need to upgrade to GYSTPro 4.6.7 in order to export your information in a form that is importable into GYSTPro.cloud. I will upgrade you for free and transfer your data onto the cloud version.
If you sign up for the trial, all the information you have added will get overwritten with the import of your current data once I import the information.
FIRST: Make sure all of your images are LoRes. (72 dpi and 6” on the long side: 864 pixels). Images higher than that will slow down your database as well as cost you more, since subscriptions are based on the amount of memory your files take.
Step 1: Find your GYSTPro 4.5.1 in your Applications (mac) or Programs (pc) folder.
Step 2: Compress the full folder with everything in it (under the file menu in finder on a mac, pc’s are all different).
Step 3: Send the compressed file via WeTransfer (you can send large files for free) using info at gyst-ink.com
Step 4: I will transfer your data into 4.6.7, and do the export. Then I will import your information into GYSTPro.cloud and let you know when it is ready. Please sign up for a trial, and I will update your trial with the subscription.
Step 5: I will also send you an error report if there are any anomalies (usually from artists putting the wrong data in the wrong places) so you can double check your data.
Step 6: You can begin using GYSTPro.cloud

GYSTPro 4.3
If you are currently using GYSTPro 4.3, you will need to upgrade to GYSTPro 4.5.1 in order to have your data importable into GYSTPro.cloud. You will also need to upgrade to 4.6.7, but I am doing that for you once you subscribe.
For a limited time, once you subscribe to GYSTPro.cloud, I will update your information and import it for FREE to the new cloud version.

GYSTPro 4.2.2 and older
Wow, you have really old software. It will need to be imported into 4.3, then 4.5.1, then 4.6.6 in order to get your data into the new GYSTPro.cloud version.
In order to keep your costs down, you will need to at least upgrade to 4.5.1. Since your computers operating system is also older (older versions quit working on High Sierra and up on a mac).
Once you purchase the UPGRADE price for GYSTPro 4.5.1, then do the following.

GYST Basic
GYST Basic will need to be upgraded to the Pro version in order to work. You can also do an export of all data in a cvs file and it will import into GYSTPro.cloud.
