Have served on a number of organizational Boards of Directors, including Installation, San Diego, and the Los Angeles Center For Photographic Studies, (LACPS). Founder of “ARTtorneys At Work,” a collaborative group of artists dedicated to keeping the issues of freedom of expression (and other related issues) alive. Curator of “Projected Light Collective,” a group of artists producing work in slide form in public spaces around the country. Formerly on the Board of Directors of Side Street Projects, and the National Association of Artist Organizations, and on the Advisory Board of FAR.
In 1992, founded a non-profit organization, Side Street Projects, dedicated to the support of artist projects and exhibitions. In 2001, rotated from Executive director to the Board of Directors, giving the organization over to the next generation.
Founded GYST Ink officially in 2005.
