The City of Santa Monica Cultural Affairs Division seeks applications from choreographers residing in Los Angeles County for an Artist Residency at the Annenberg Community Beach House at 415 Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. The Choreographer Residency offers a private office in the historic Marion Davies Guest House and access to designated open spaces of the Annenberg Community Beach House over a span of three weeks, September 18 to October 7, 2017, for the purpose of creating a work of outdoor performance and sharing their process and work with the public. Though the formal period of this residency begins in mid-September, the resident has access to an on-site office starting July 10, 2017. The resident is paid an honorarium of $3,500.

Call for Proposals - 2017 ACBH Group Exhibitions For the Annenberg Community Beach House Gallery, Santa Monica, CA
The City of Santa Monica requests proposals for group exhibitions (with three or more artists) from emerging and established artists, photographers and artist groups/collectives based in the greater Southern California area. The exhibition display period is up to four months. The City will review eligible proposals and select up to four separate proposals for exhibitions through January 2018.

2015 Writer's Residency: Annenberg Community Beach House

The City of Santa Monica, Cultural Affairs Division, seeks proposals from writers of fiction, poetry, plays, and screenplays living in Los Angeles County for the Writer’s Residency Program at the Annenberg Community Beach House. The Writer’s Residency Program offers writers a private office in the historic Marion Davies Guest House for six weeks between Tuesday, January 13 and Tuesday, February 17, 2015 to complete a work-in-progress.

Studio Residency: Santa Monica

The City of Santa Monica, Cultural Affairs Division, seeks proposals from artists and artisans living in Los Angeles County for a Studio Residency at 1450 Ocean, the Camera Obscura building in Palisades Park, Santa Monica. This Studio Residency offers shared multipurpose space with a spectacular ocean view in an iconic midcentury park building overlooking the Pier, from Tuesday, January 6 to Tuesday, March 3, 2015. The City is particularly interested in a letterpress or fine art printer who would be interested in temporarily relocating their press to the center. However all mediums will be considered.
